Help Desk Technician

What You Will Be Doing? 

  • Provide frontline technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Log, track, and prioritize support requests using ticketing systems.
  • Ensure timely resolution and escalation of issues as needed.
  • Assist users with technology-related questions and guide them through problem-solving steps.
  • Provide clear and concise instructions for issue resolution.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support personnel when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of support interactions, solutions, and configurations.
  • Create and update user guides and knowledge base articles.
  • Conduct basic user training sessions on common software and technology tools. 
  • Collaborate with other IT teams for issue resolution and knowledge sharing.
  • Escalate issues to higher-level support as needed.

What Do You Need for the Position? 

We are looking for a Help Desk Technician, with Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineer, or another related field. 

We Expect 

  • 1+ years of work experience in the same or similar jobs
  • Proficiency in basic hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of common operating systems and applications
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Patience and empathy in assisting end-users
  • Ability to manage and prioritize support tickets efficiently 
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical users
  • Effective collaboration with other IT teams for issue resolution
  • Active knowledge of English in speech and writing
