Building on this strong regional collaboration and growth mindset, we are looking for an experienced IT Security Expert who will contribute to strengthening our cyber security framework, managing security risks and ensuring a secure and resilient IT environment across SEE.

What You Will Be Doing?

  • Implement and continuously improve cyber security risk management processes, strategies and policies
  • Monitor emerging cyber security threats, trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards
  • Support application security and ensure security requirements throughout the application lifecycle
  • Perform daily cyber security operations using tools such as SIEM, PAM, FW, EDR and DLP
  • Monitor, test and maintain security systems and services
  • Manage and report security and operational incidents, including relevant reporting to the Management Board
  • Support cyber security risk assessments and define appropriate risk mitigation measures
  • Ensure IT service providers meet agreed security, service continuity and disaster recovery requirements
  • Deliver security awareness and training to UNIQA employees
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and IT service providers to strengthen the organisation's overall security posture

What Do You Need for the Position?

We are looking for a talented and dedicated IT Security Expert, with a university degree in a technology-related field or equivalent professional experience, who combines strong information security knowledge with a practical, risk-based approach.

We Expect

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT-related roles
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of information and cyber security principles
  • Experience in application security
  • Knowledge of common information security management frameworks and standards
  • Good knowledge and understanding of relevant IT areas, including IT infrastructure, networking and software development
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, PAM, FW, EDR and DLP
  • Experience in security operations, incident management, risk assessments and security reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of personal integrity and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Excellent knowledge of English language

We Consider as a Plus

  • Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and management, including managed services
  • Experience in service continuity, business continuity and disaster recovery processes
  • Relevant professional certifications in information or cyber security
  • Experience working in a regulated industry or complex international organisation
  • Experience in developing and delivering security awareness and training programmes
